Chilianaula (Ashram) From Rishikesh
to the mountain town of Raniket and to Chilianaula.
The Uttaranchal region. It is here that for over
5000 years and probably twice that, that the famous
Holy Men of India have lived. Deep in the jungles
and high peaks of this region, the sacred concepts
of mans relationship to the cosmos have been pondered,
investigated and written about.
Many of the greatest miracle men of India, gurus,
fakirs, swamis etc. have resided here.
The
region is filled with sacred sites, temples that
are older than history itself, and caves and retreats. From
this region mystic thought emanated and gave rise
to many of the mystery schools of the Middle East,
including Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia and the Far
East. Judaism and Christianity owe many of their
early concepts to Indian Vedic teachings. As does
Buddhism, Chinese and Japanese martial arts originated
in India, so did yoga, Tai Chi and so on.Chilianaula
is where the ceremony of Navarartri is held in
the Fall . This is a powerful 9 day ceremony devoted
to the Divine presence and it devotes three days
on each of three aspects of the Divine, invoking
respectively, the power of personal transformation,
wisdom and prosperity. The energy builds increasingly
each day around the Yagna, that is the sacred
fire offering, as instituted by Babaji. Here,
where the divine masters and yogis assemble once
a year, you are invited to witness and take part
in ancient ceremonies that few are privileged
to witness. The Sacred Yagna introduced by Babaji
builds in intensity each day for 9 days as you
manifest Submission of the Ego, Prosperity and
Wisdom follow.
Join us and be regenerated. Bathe in sacred chants,
fire ceremonies, and receive Divine Blessing.
This is the most powerful trip we know of for
spiritual advancement. In the world today there
has never been a greater need for us to uplift
ourselves. We need to bring back our knowledge
and learning to others for the greater good of
society.
